Set the targets. Watch what they actually eat.

Coachflow calculates each client's calories and macros from equations you can show them, cycles their intake across the week, and has them log food inside the app. You get real adherence data instead of a MyFitnessPal screenshot that may or may not be from this week.

Maths you can defend on a call

Coachflow calculates BMR from Katch-McArdle when you have a body-fat figure and Mifflin-St Jeor when you don't, then builds TDEE by keeping lifestyle activity and planned training separate. A client who trains five times a week but sits at a desk stops being over-fed by a single activity multiplier. There's a panel showing exactly how each number was reached, which is the difference between a client trusting your plan and quietly ignoring it.

Higher at weekends, lower midweek, still on target

Set different calories for different days and Coachflow redistributes the difference across the rest of the week, respecting the floor and keeping at least two days flexible. Lock the days you don't want moved. Lock a day so the client can't move it either. Both of you are editing the same chart.

In your app, with your branding

Clients log inside Coachflow with a barcode scanner, food suggestions, copy-from-yesterday for the meals they repeat, and drag-and-drop between meals. Their day shows as calorie and macro rings. Every client who logs somewhere else is a client whose adherence you're guessing at.

UK-first, and it handles bad spelling

Built on a UK and EU label-centric source rather than a US one, so the brands and formats match what your clients pick up. Search survives typos, and it's weighted so distinctive words beat generic ones, which means low fat mozzarella returns mozzarella. Foods carry natural serving units, so a client logs one slice or one biscuit instead of guessing at grams.

Yours, with the macros worked out

Build recipes with ingredients grouped into sections, prep notes on each one, seasonings marked separately, and steps you can reorder by dragging. Per-serving calories, protein, carbs, fat, fibre, sugar and salt calculate as you go from the food database. Filter by diet, allergen, meal type, cooking method or a calorie range.

Built for a household, targeted at a person

Generate a week around a client's targets, honouring their calorie cycling, their allergens and the recipes they've pinned. Leftovers become lunches later in the week. The whole plan rolls up into one categorised shopping list. Servings scale for the family while the macros stay per-person.

Questions coaches ask.

Is Coachflow's food database UK-based?

Yes. It's built primarily on a UK and EU label-centric source, with brands, formats and serving descriptions that match what your clients find in a British supermarket, plus barcode scanning. A US database is used only as a fallback for foods not otherwise found.

How does Coachflow calculate calories and macros?

BMR comes from Katch-McArdle when body-fat percentage is on file and Mifflin-St Jeor when it isn't. TDEE separates lifestyle activity from planned training, so desk-bound clients who train hard aren't over-fed. The goal adjustment works from percentage of bodyweight per week, with a sex-based safe calorie floor. Every step is shown to you in an explainer panel you can walk a client through.

Can I do calorie cycling or refeeds?

Yes. Set per-day calories across the week and Coachflow redistributes the difference across the remaining unlocked days while respecting the client's floor. You can lock individual days, including locking them so the client can't change them.

Do clients log their food in the app?

Yes, with a barcode scanner, food suggestions, copy-from-yesterday, and drag-and-drop between meals. They see calorie and macro rings for the day. You see the actual log rather than a screenshot from another app.

Can I add my own recipes?

Yes, with sectioned ingredients, per-ingredient prep notes, seasonings flagged separately, reorderable steps and a cover photo. Per-serving macros including fibre, sugar and salt calculate automatically from the food database as you build.

Can Coachflow build a meal plan automatically?

Yes. It generates a week around a client's targets and calorie cycling, avoids their allergens, keeps recipes you've pinned, plans leftovers into later meals and produces a single categorised shopping list. You can also build the week by hand.
